Chief Mike Chiaramonte Chief Chiaramonte brings 35 years of fire service experience to WebFire Training. Aside from being a fire fighting veteran, a former Chief of the Lynbrook, New York Fire Department, and the current Chief Fire Inspector of that department, Chief Chiaramonte is a former Chairman and current board member of International Association of Fire Chiefs Volunteer and Combination Officers Section. He is a member of the Fire Chief Magazine Advisory Board, and a regular columnist for that magazine. He is also an Advisory Board member, National Fall Firefighters Foundation, and instructs six courses at the National Fire Academy, as well as serving as curriculum advisor for the Academy. Chief Chiaramonte is also a peer evaluator for the International Association of Fire Chiefs National Fire Service Accreditation Board. In addition, he speaks and instructs internationally about current fire service issues. |

Jesse Denton Mr. Denton has extensive corporate experience in loss prevention management. He is currently the Loss Prevention Manager, Southern Region for Starwood Hotels and Resorts. He was previously a Senior Risk Engineering Consultant for Zurich US Insurance Group, the Fire Prevention, Safety & Environmental Manager for Holiday Inns Worldwide and Senior Loss Prevention Consultant to Industrial Risk Insurers. In addition, he a contributing editor to The Rooms Chronicles hospitality newsletter. |

David Dittman, PhD Dr. Dittman has an extensive background in education and corporate governance. He is the former Dean and currently the Herbert E. Westfall Professor of Accounting at The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Dr. Dittman is also a former Chair, Department of Accounting at The Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. He is a current or past board member of major industry leaders such as Burnham Corporation, Bristol Hotel Company, American Hotel Foundation, American Center for Wine Food & the Arts, Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Motel Association, Institute of Certified travel Agents and Australian International Hotel School. He also sits on the advisory board of Zoho Inc., and Tourchpak, Inc. |

Ray Ellis, CHE, CHTP, CLSD Mr. Ellis is Professor and Director of Loss Prevention Management Institute at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management at the University of Houston. He authored "Security and Loss Prevention Management" (2nd edition, 1999) and "OSHA, A Guide to Occupational Safety and Health Standards Compliance for the Lodging Industry" in 1997. In addition, he compiled and edited "Security and Loss Prevention for the Hotel, Motel, Restaurant & Club" in 1998. Mr. Ellis is a member of the board of the National Safety Council’s Business and Industrial Division, and serves as secretary of the Service, Retail and Logistics Section Executive Committee. He is also a member of the Business Research Advisory Council to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. Department of Labor. He is assigned to the Council’s committee on Occupational Safety and Health. He is also a member of the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Loss Prevention Committee, which he founded in October 1977. |

Pat Mooney Mr. Mooney adds nearly 30 years of marketing and executive management experience to the WebFire Training’s Advisory Board. For over two decades, he played key marketing roles for major sporting events and teams such as the Super Bowl, the Olympics, Los Angeles Lakers, San Diego Clippers and three professional baseball teams. Recently, Mr. Mooney was director of sales and marketing at a computer security company and was Vice President, Marketing at Goinvest.com. |

John Velier Mr. Velier is currently the Corporate Manager of Investigations and Security Management for Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a Special Agent of the FBI for 25 years and retired as the Unit Chief of the Education and Communication Arts Unit at the FBI Academy in Quantico Virginia. He was a street agent in Boston, MA and Springfield, Illinois before being promoted to Supervisory Special Agent at the FBI Academy where he taught in the FBI National Academy. He served at FBI Headquarters as Coordinator of the FBI's international police training effort. He also served as a squad supervisor in Cleveland, Ohio, and Supervisory Senior Special Agent in Toledo, Ohio. He was also a member of the Inspection staff and was then promoted to Unit Chief of the Management Science Unit at the FBI Academy. |
